VarioFlex basket system and 3rd VarioDrawer
We all know how annoying it is to fill the dishwasher, trying to fit all the dirty dishes inside. The new Bosch dishwashers with the VarioFlex basket system offer maximum flexibility and comfort in placing and washing your kitchenware. This is ensured by the eight flexible elements in the upper basket with a red color that can be adjusted according to the glasses and dishes you want to place for washing. At the same time, the lower basket offers nine additional flexible elements. Furthermore, the foldable shelves guarantee the protection and stability of your dishes during washing, thanks to their special design, while the stainless steel basket handles provide easy and quick access to everything. Finally, the 3rd VarioDrawer is the ideal space to perfectly and thoroughly wash all your cutlery and kitchenware.
VarioDrawer: now your dishwasher is more flexible than ever
Sometimes your dishwasher doesn’t have enough flexibility to fit everything you want. The VarioDrawer telescopic drawer offers a third loading level in ActiveWater dishwashers to make things even more convenient. It’s the perfect place to put cutlery and smaller kitchen utensils, such as spoons, whisks, or even espresso cups. This way, you have more flexibility when filling the dishwasher, freeing up more space in the lower basket. The cutlery tray in the lower basket can be replaced by the VarioDrawer, creating space for an additional place setting. The result is greater capacity and flexibility in loading your dishwasher.
Rackmatic System
Thanks to the triple Rackmatic system, the height of the upper basket can be easily adjusted by up to 5 cm. And you can do this even when it is completely full. This means even more adjustment options and, consequently, maximum flexibility.
Verified hygiene performance
According to tests conducted by the Institute of Hygiene and Virology, viruses such as the coronavirus and influenza are effectively neutralized thanks to the Economy 50°C program (Level 1 on the hygiene label). In addition, significantly higher levels of hygiene can be achieved with programs that use higher temperatures. Thus, they are effective against more resistant viruses, including those with and without a lipoprotein envelope. Such programs are the Intensive 70°C and the dishwasher care program (Level 3 on the hygiene label).
Extremely quiet, whenever you want it
Sometimes you don’t want any noise to distract you from your daily tasks. The “Silence” function can be activated through the Home Connect app and reduce the noise of your dishwasher whenever you deem it necessary. With the optional “Silence” function, you are free and undisturbed to focus on what matters most to you.

Different loads in the dishwasher require different washing settings. By choosing the wrong program, you not only waste your time, but also water and energy. Bosch’s automatic programs automatically adjust the water temperature and drying time during washing according to the quantity and degree of dirt on your dishes. For example, combine the Extra Dry option with the Eco 50°C program and start washing your dishes with a touch. Customize the dishwasher program based on your own needs with just one selection.

When using the dishwasher, you realize that some programs do not perfectly match your needs. Bosch dishwashers with Programme Download function allow you to download additional programs through the Home Connect app. This way, you can find the ideal one for your dishes, just the way you want it. All you need to do is open the Home Connect app and answer a few questions about which dishes you have put for washing and how dirty they are.
